For full disclosure Robin is a friend I have known for decades. Being his friend has ALWAYS been an adventure. When you would go over for Sunday dinner ( complete with his world famous Yorkshire pudding) you never knew who was going to open the door. One time it might be Rod Stewart and the following week it could be actor John Hurt. The conversation was always enriching and the wine was flowing. Robin and his then wife and still dear friend Robin… read the book it will make sense… made my living in England one of the happiest times in my life. I am delighted to say this book takes you on that journey that I was blessed to witness but even so much more. Robin doesn't hold back in this wonderful page turner . Whether it's growing up the son of two world renowned performers, living his dream of performing on the biggest stages in the world or even the darkside of battling his inner demons- it is all there. I mean everything-including what he in the Rod Stewart group did in the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco. In fact I got to that part while I was staying in that very hotel a couple of weeks ago. Oddly I was handed a bill for the damages and asked to forward it on. We will keep that between ourselves OK? Please enjoy this wonderful summer read and if you have a music lover in your life this is a wonderful gift.
Robin had a very interesting life growing up with famous parents and finding his way to Rock and Roll
